Amy Ross

Amy Ross (b. 1972, New Jersey) is a Boston-based painter. Prior to attending the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston from 1998 to 2000, she earned a BA in Religious Studies from Connecticut College in 1994 and a Master’s in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School in 1997.
Amy has had solo shows at Allston Skirt Gallery in Boston, MA; the Schlosberg Gallery at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA; Motel Gallery in Portland, Oregon; and Mack B Gallery in Sarasota, FL. She has been in two-person shows with Sue Coe at Overtones Gallery in Los Angeles, CA, and with Robert Gutierrez at Irvine Contemporary in Washington, DC.
In 2007, she will have solo shows at Jen Bekman Gallery, New York, NY; Romo Gallery in Atlanta, GA; and SPUR Projects in Portola Valley, CA.
Her work has been reviewed in The Boston Globe, The Boston Phoenix, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Portland Mercury, and The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
